Intro: Following in the footsteps of the Tofu, Pebble, and D60, the Agar emerges as KBDfans' latest take on the HHKB-style layout. Available in both MX and EC switch variants, this keyboard combines an elegant aesthetic and a streamlined build with a highly addictive, crisp sound signature

Appearance

In a departure from standard keyboard aesthetics, the Agar makes a daring statement with its curvaceous form. The keyboard is defined by gently flowing curves along nearly every edge, with a smooth, seamless transition that is both cohesive and refined. A uniquely angled slope at the front-right corner provides an instantly recognizable feature, and the arced cutouts on the sides lend a sleek and slender feel.

The rear copper weight, whether matched with aluminum or polycarbonate, creates an exquisite harmony and the 'Starry Sea' engraving elevates the board's narrative. May each individual navigate the celestial seas of their own inner cosmos, unburdened and free.

Silicone block mount system

To perfectly complement the silicone block mount system, we've custom-molded silicone blockers, with the precision of the mounting points and the limiting mechanisms extensively tuned for optimal performance.

The key benefits of this design include exceptionally easy barebones installation and removal, as well as a delightful flexible typing feel.

Friendly reminder:

This keyboard can compatible the maximum USB head size, which is 9 mm in diameter and 8 mm in length.

We recommend using case foam; otherwise, there may be a risk of the PCB touching the bottom.

Be careful not to overtighten the counterweight to avoid cracking the case.

To ensure the safe transport of your Agar PC kit, the internal weight will not be pre-installed by us. Please install it yourself upon arrival. This prevents potential damage to the PC casing that can occur due to the weight during shipping. If you need to transport or ship your keyboard in the future, we recommend removing the weight beforehand to avoid similar damage.
